carnival: viva jamaica!….viva jamaica?
August 29, 2008
what are the ways to spend monday? :
a) relax after busy weekend
b) work
c) go to carnival
yes, you are right! we went to the notthing hill carnival. for the first time. and probably the last one. and here is what we found
when carnival comes to london, it comes with the bang. not forgetting all the typical attributes. the most typical one is parade with all those 5m wings…

or… how do you call them?

from youth to those who are young in their hearts

and ass shakings. we decided that they born being professional ass shakers

anyway, the masquerade isnt the only thing you could find there. noise, screamings, various sounds and the rest which is called music – all you could find in notthing hill streets. mainly the blacks’ music, of course

to make sure everybody hears your song

so colourful and so dark

there were lots of policemans tried to make sure nobody fights or uses drugs. well, for the last one it didnt work

mountains of ribbish – on the street or at your home

the smell of smoke was even stronger than the smell of hashish. would you dare to try this meal?

everybody were trying to sell something: food, drinks or at least an entrance to their toilet for 1 pound

if you go to the carnival, you have to look cool. for example, to wear the best suit

or fancy shoes.
here is the advice: if you cant decide which pair of shoes to wear – take both

and for the dessert: the boy, who made as sitting in front of his home for an houre staring at him dancing, singing and changing the hats. perfect random performance. mmm…
