music vol. 1388
August 8, 2008
proud galleries is a truly unique venue situated in the heart of stables market just walking distance from Camden Town – yeah, the same london area that issued a question after its market has burned ‘what next london area would you like to burn?’.

in fact, camden is still indie music hometown (and also some neanderthal freaks with bad taste for fashion). anyway, in camden still lives amy w. time to time she drops in proud galleries. we popped in there too.

that night we were on the guestlist in proud galleries cause we were meeting the band before gig called tapedeck (full interview with ‘em you can read in pravda august issue).

guys were on acid but even though we talked much and it (a) didn’t disturb us.
after we listened to their friends called semifinalists. we think they are briliant. they have this new sound of london – slightly naive, slightly childlike, some electro rock sound combined with asian virginity.

the act that played after semifinalists was annie – a blonde with lollipop. yeah, she is hot. at least, men think so. but alas! her music is boooring. even though she is scandinavian she still sounds anti-innovative.

that’s a cute view anyway. just in the first row.

there was also an exhibition of sid vicious photos that night. loved ‘em. you nearly can’t stay indifferent for him. even in photos.

some chinese food next to proud galleries is only for two pounds. must try. but note – it’s only after 8 pm.

btw, in proud we saw a great idea to make bar tenders work easier. SHOPPING BAG. brilliant, isn’t it?
