artistical london

July 30, 2008

when it’s raining outside, you have to make sure you are inside. and when ruta comes to london, there are no other ways to be “inside” besides various galleries and museums.

we began from “Skin+Bones” in Somerset House, where the story about the relationships between fashion and architecture was told.

then – few houres’ psychotherapy watching “Psycho Buildings”

posing…

and enjoying free coffee. hm, not more than the exibition itself, for sure.

another place we just could’t miss – Barbican and “The House of Viktor & Rolf” . these two lovely boys during the last 15 year period were more than amazing. so feminine, so perfect.

when girls do have day off we go out to explore london at day time. the same streets seem absolutely different then, with thousands of tourists. but if you wanna find anyone at daytime willing to party you can just have a peek into brick lane. you will definately find someone who will be in mood to dance to talk or to drink few shots with you.

after having some grapes with yogurt we moved towards covent garden for some posh attractions. well not that posh but poshier anyway.

cakes and tea – so english..

but we better went for taking away the best coffee in london. if you write into your google bar ‘the best coffee in london’ the first +- 10 pages will contain something about this coffee shop which is in covent garden, next to a very beautiful yard with tons of colours.

after we bought WAD magazine and had a chill in soho square. and then dropped in topshop and spend like one hour or more chosing one of a green eye shadows. it is such a difficult task.

which one would you choose?

… then ‘urban outfitters’… amazing water-pot. inga wished could have taken it with her. but we have no plants at home. except withered basilics.

and aurime can’t decide whether to buy ray-bans for herself, or is this trend already ‘ladled out’? help wanted!

and days off means live concerts. goldfrapp and erykah badu – done. and it’s nothing to add. impossible to express how amazing those divas were.

if you’re on mood, you can find a good party in london (i’m sorry – east london) at any time. even on the holy sunday evening. and so we did. we went to ponystep party in ‘hoxton square bar&kitchen’. we weren’t on the guestlist (it was friends-only party) but who cares, we did few tricks and got in.

people were just losing their minds inside. and no one cared who was playing, cause that mr. somebody was playing good. no complaints and no regrets. dj cult is damn far away from east london. it’s all about party people.

igne loves the idea of being totally relaxed in london.

inga did a small research on what are these people on the whole, and what trend do they populiarize. this will be on pravda.

and now going on and meeting loads of individualities.

some crazy blonds too

…sweaty fancy guys…

naked butts here are almost as usual as peeking strings from trousers in lithuania.

parties without this kind of miss magdalenas aren’t of real value.

we finished at 2 am as monday morning was inevitably coming. as far as we know the next ponystep is about to be held a month later. anybody wanna join?

the best models of the night will be featured in www.plus370.com and print pravda very very soon.

before the party we did some mistake while going to portabelo market, as on sunday it is closed. just few freaky ladies and gents selling their own stuff.

and some hippies selling vegan coffee, xixi.

you better visit hyde park on sundays when they have this tradition of speakers’s corner where every freak can come and talk. usually they talk nonsenses. for example, like this guy jabbers about penis.

or this anarchist giving free hugs. yak, no way. no touches, please.

… or this slobbered himself chef or doctor (who cares – nobody was listening to him)…

we better laid down on grass in a shade and listened to the rehearsal of THE PLICE who were playing that night in hyde park. it was their last concert. no more police.

miss ya.
